J. Michael Grier

Managing Partner Mike Grier has more than 30 years of trial and arbitration experience and he has tried and arbitrated business, real estate, development, professional liability, construction, commercial and other types of cases throughout the United States.

In recent years, Mike led trial teams that won “bet the company” commercial arbitrations resulting in total judgments for his clients in excess of $20 million.

Mike has served as the president of the Kansas Bar Association Construction Law Section and on the faculty of Georgetown University Law Center’s National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He has an accredited American Arbitration Association (AAA) “neutral” arbitrator. Mike has been recognized both by “Best Lawyers in America,” and Ingram’s Magazine (Kansas City’s premier business publication) for his expertise in commercial and construction litigation, and named by the Kansas City Business Journal as one of the “Best of the Bar.”

Mike is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, and designated as a Superlawyer (top 5% of lawyers) in Kansas and Missouri. Client references provided upon request.
