WG secures Dismissal for Clients in U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit affirmed the dismissal of a breach of contract claim filed against WG’s client, a Toronto-based international commodities broker, by Dairy Farmers of America, the US’s largest dairy cooperative. The Eighth Circuit adopted WG’s argument and clarified its previous decisions on personal jurisdiction based on the Missouri Long Arm statute. Dairy Farmers of America, Inc., v.
